Printing this material

  • Keep dry — Absorbs moisture from the air, which prints as stringing, popping and weak layers. Filament that has sat out usually needs drying before use.
  • Flexible — Soft enough to buckle instead of feeding. Direct-drive extruders handle it; long Bowden paths often will not.

True of TPU generally. Follow NinjaTek’s own guidance for this spool.

I think this is the "blackest black" that I have in the library. It's very reflective, so it doesn't necessarily appear to be so at first glance. Relatively easy to print if you have a good extruder (does not play nicely with the E3D Titan) and is very soft and fun to work with!
