Material changes both how a part behaves and how its colour reads — the same pigment in PETG looks glossier and slightly deeper than it does in matte PLA.
PLA
10644 coloursThe default for most printing. Easy, low-warp, widest colour range by a large margin.
PETG
2853 coloursTougher and more heat-resistant than PLA, slightly glossier, and often available translucent.
ABS
1399 coloursHigher temperature resistance, needs an enclosure. Colours tend to be more saturated after vapour smoothing.
TPU
1110 coloursFlexible. Colour selection is narrower and pigments read differently at low infill.
ASA
866 coloursABS's UV-stable cousin. The usual choice for parts that live outdoors.
PLA+
517 coloursToughened PLA blends. Prints like PLA with better layer adhesion and impact resistance.
Nylon
239 coloursWear-resistant and tough. Naturally off-white and difficult to pigment consistently.
